LUCA MASSELLI

I'm Luca Masselli, an artist, graphic designer and illustrator.

I was born in Figline Valdarno, in that area halfway between Florence and Arezzo where personalities such as Marsilio Ficino and Masaccio were born; I still live and work in this wonderful area of Tuscany, cradle of the Renaissance and many other important artistic and cultural movements.

My work as an artist allows me to confront myself with the world of inspiration, suggestions, characters and fantastic places that accompany me from the very first moment when as a child I held the pencil; often I find them as real flashbacks, almost like "déjà vu", in the images that characterize everything about my work.

I have never attended a real art school; after obtaining a technical sales and advertising diploma, I studied painting with Massimo Callossi and Elisa Brunello, famous painters of the Florentine area. In the mean time, I attended the courses of the BSMT Academy of Bologna of dance, singing, acting and set design. In 2010 I returned to Tuscany and I started collaborating with many galleries such as the "Simultanea Gallery" in Florence and the "IAC Gallery" in Impruneta, Florence.
